Hey Tomco, I know these are not even close to the dates you are requesting, but the general price for hotels down there seem to be 40-50 a night.
I don't travel much, so I really don't know when peak season dates are for travel, but I hope that marginally sends you in a direction.
Thanks YU... it has to be on those 3 days though...

From what I have read from that huge thread on bidding for travel, perhaps you could go to priceline.com and then bid the maximum you want to pay?
I know you are savy when it comes to savings, for example if you were looking for a hotel in Indy for 20 a night, then bid that with only the 4 star modifier select, and see if they accept that bid. I sent you that link because those dates that were shown to me seem to be "off season" times, hence I would assume that on Feb 3-5, the prices would be similar.
If they don't accept your bid, perhaps you can then change it to 3 star =) Otherwise I am out of ideas.
I have been able to get room in Calgary at Hyatt for 65 US before with priceline, so anything can happen!
superbowl weekend?
it is going to be pricey on such short notification?
are you going for superbowl ?
either way, any other requirements for hotel? stars? location?

Hotels always jack their rates for special events. If rates are that high right now, dont expect them to drop any time soon.
