With good tacos, you don't really need a bunch of extra salsa, the meat is all simmered in sauce, I think.
Get the lengua or camaron, those are my favourites there.

Carne Asada shouldn’t be simmered, marinated and flavourful yes, but lots of room for a saucing on the tacoThis quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Similar to a pork belly taco. Think more Native Tongues style

Of all my controversial shitposting on this forum, it appears my taco discussion might be the most controversial of all.

More than the fried rice? Your Rep Power suggest that you pander to the general public.

B-b-q Chicken near Stampede on 13th Ave.
I had it around 7 times now and just found out their wings are the bomb. The chicken is great and i love it but after getting a box of wings, I am so hooked. I like saucy wings and the crust is very good. Even after a 30-40 minute trip home, wings still had that nice crispy and sticky glaze and oh so delicious.

we went to Tacos Mexico last night as our last supper before lockdown again and my wife loved TM more than MP.This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
the restaurant has a more tourist Mexican vibe than MP and the tacos that we had were all great, my favourite was the al pastor and wife's fish and shrimp tacos were cooked perfectly. she was disappointed that they ran out of the chowder soup but cant wait to go back again, I also want to try the lava rock stone bowl next, looked delicious.
now between TM and MP, to me it is a tie, they are both good and different from each other, MP has the home made feel with the meat slowly cooked that I remember having in small Mexican town whereas TM has the Mexican tourist taste and vibe.
Huge fan of the Unimarket chinook for tacos and latin foods.
They also make nice dulche le leche/tres leche cakeThis quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
anyone else hooked on Korean Corn Dog?
I always end up stopping by Meshi for a quick corn dog after my chiro/massage appointments.
the fermented dough they use is delicious
What’s the difference? Made of real dog?

there's another Korean Corn dog place in 17th but havent tried it yet.
Tacos Mexico is my Worth It winner, El Cautro + tacos. Are their any differences in locations? Always went to the Memorial one.
Tried the corn dog at K Street Food on Edm trail and didn't care for it. Will have to give it another chance some where else.
Tacos Mexico is legit good spot. I had no idea there even was another location aside from the Memorial East one.
