So this plasti-dipping crazy has been going on for a long time now, any tips on applying it or even if it's still a good idea? I just picked up an '03 G35 coupe and it has the stock 17 inch rims on the winters and the silver has literally turned to some disgusting brownish colour in some parts, instead of cleaning I thought I'd plasti dip them black...
Seen a few youtube videos, apparently you don't need to do any prep work or even cover the tires?? Put tons of layers on it to protect better from rocks I guess? Do you do one layer, then wait to dry, then do another layer or do you just do a thick coat at once?
Also, where the hell do I buy it? Any Canadian Tire?
