My dad used to save them up for me, he'd make me load them all up and then I'd get the money when I was a little boy, it helped me learn the value of working for money. I did the same for my boys, and now I still enjoy the reward of collecting them, playing Tetris to fit them all in the Civic while counting them, and then I just drop them off at the depot and tell them how many dozen I have (in boxes). They take my word for it cuz I've been going to the same depot for like 20 years so it goes super quick. ~$60 every 3-4 months is added to my rolled coins, focus group money, and other little cash infusions I get here and there. Adds up to about ~$1K/year then I treat myself to whatever.
