Property is on Prince's Island vicinity! Pretty good condos methinks.
What do the ballers think?

FYI, the new sales center for waterfront opens today (Saturday) if you were wanting to check it out.
How atrociously expensive are those? Sick location though.

So expensive. Go on MLS and you'll know what I mean.
The new Guardian towers look like they could be nice and affordable.
BTW, if you can't afford Waterfront, there's always Riverfront POV haha

Shit, there's only 49 users here, I doubt we'll even break 100
I already talked to a salesperson and its pricey. You're paying for the location and the view for sure.<600sqft 1bdrm was about 310k with a view that I wanted.
gulp.
What was the view and how much were the condo fees? I'll have to pop by today and see what's what. Wicked location, my only scare is that yes, you're paying a lot more for the view and location which I'm OK with, but it's the condo fees I can see being a huge deal breaker.

The view was facing the river (East?) and $310/mth.Originally posted by msommers

When did you talk to them? I think all the 300k ones are gone already. They have 385k and up at this point but maybe they released more today.Originally posted by flipstah

The location is great but there's other places that offer more for less. Sigh. =(
Is this the one near Eau Claire? If so, you're definitely paying for the location. However, in the future I think we can see a nice "revitalization" of the area when Eau Claire is supposed to be demolished.
You get more sq. footage per $ at The Guardian but the location of the Waterfront is the definite catch.
I think a view>location so I may go for The Guardian. Especially one facing the west skyline.
I wonder what the actual pricing is for units in the Guardian... looks interesting
According to their site, a 2-bedroom with a parking spot starts at $313k. I'm assuming that's near ground floor so as you go up the floors, the higher the price.Originally posted by borN

Apparently more than 80 units of The Guardian were already sold for friends & family. The pre-sale is next week; better bring out your camping gear out if you wanna get a unit.

I think it's silly to camp out for a condo. It's not like we have a shortage in Calgary.
This ain't San Francisco lol.
The condo fees are reasonable for what you get and the location. Just west a few blocks by the YMCA, those horrid red exterior apartments complexes have some condo fees upwards of 1000+/month!

Caveat. It's fixed for 5 years only.Originally posted by msommers

Yup. I guess timing may matter as well. Waterfront are ready to be moved into where as the Guardian is a couple years away.Originally posted by flipstah
