    Default Shoes

Who's got a good selection of road bike shoes in Calgary. I've tried Specialized, Giro, Shimano and Sidi and can't find one that fits well. I've been to Bow, MEC and Speed Theory so far and was hoping to find someone that carried Diadora, Gaerne etc. I'm getting tired of numb toes and need a new set of shoes for this season.

Bow Cycle is what i'd recommend, and as always Eurotech has some SIDI... and Campione has a dece selection as well...

Id recommend specialized (they're all about fit and body geometry)... But shimano's are nice too (they're mold fitting - like a skate)

EDIT: you dislike giro, shim, and specialized???? I have a good feeling that its not the shoes problem in this case.........

Those shoes are top of their game for fit and comfort.

^Right, my feet are kind of hard to fit so that's why I am trying to find different options.

^ 'k, WHAT? I'm looking for options. I have never seen the Nike available here in the city or I might try them. By the Nike web site it doesn't even look like they make them anymore.

Not that it matters, but I recall seeing some Nike shoes at The Bike Shop several years ago, this would have been around the time Lance was still riding for the USPS team.

Tried some Bontrager RXXXL Limited Edition Road shoes at Calgary Cycle tonite and they have hit the short list. Seem to be pretty comfy, super lite and stiff. I'm going to try to hit up Eurotech and see what they have and decide then.

Just an FYI, the owners of Eurotech have been on vacation for a while, dont know if the shop is open yet... So i'd call first and make sure before you go in.

    But send you a PM...
GL with the shoe hunt. Do you have size 13/14 feet or something?
