Shane Homes acquires Beattie Homes Calgary
I just bought a Beattie Home. This is the second time I got handed down, I home Shane looks after me.
Beattie Homes, a leading Alberta new home builder, today announced plans to sell its single family operations in Calgary, Alberta. Effective immediately, operations will begin to transfer to Shane Homes, who will take over all work in progress and homes under warranty effective March 1, 2012. Approximately 45 Beattie Homes employees will be affected by the closure.
Beattie Homes will continue to honor all contractual commitments on homes sold and built in Calgary, including warranty obligations. “Beattie Homes has operated successfully in Calgary for the past 29 years, and maintains its commitment to look after all current and previous homeowners in this transaction that will see Shane Homes manage all construction and warranty functions going forward. We are extremely confident in having a company with such a solid reputation as Shane Homes to manage Beattie’s commitments to all homeowners,” said Robert Bezemer, Acting President, Beattie Homes.
