just watching some FF clips... is it just me or are the racers really that retarded? they have their nos buttons labelled like they don't know it is nos.... or is it for the 16 year olds who watch the movie and are like damn I need a NOS label to make my car go faster?

There is actually a semi-funny story about how the whole NAAAWS thing came to be. Revolving around those very same NOS stickers on the steering wheels.
Think it might have been in the extras on the dvd? Or some sorta documentary.
Basically the whole thing got started as a mistake then worked its way into the dialogue IIRC (been years since I saw the clip).

Clearly you need to go watch it again! Brian O'Conner use NOS 1 in the 1st stage and then uses nos 2 after the "Danger to manifold" stage
