For the 675? Nordic is pretty much it. I've heard that State Farm will write some sport bikes under certain circumstances but I don't really know all the particulars of their program.

I phoned TD. They said they just relaxed the rules. They will insure my new bike but don't offer collision coverage. Their price is better than Nordic.

That's odd. I have full collision on my FJR.

Call state farm guys Best insurance company so far I've dealt with. Try " Landy.ca " as well (Lundgren & Young).

I am with Statefarm and the difference in my rates are insane.

I was quoted $1380 1mill liability, 500 collision and 250 comp with Nordic and I am paying $281 with SF for the exact same coverage.

FJR usually falls into the standard / touring class, most companies will write the FJR without problems.

What bike do you have? I tried to insure a GSXR 600 and they wouldn't insure it b/c they said I didn't have an alarm on it.

CBR600RR. TD will only fully insure a sportbike if it has an alarm, 3rd party (which is what i have) can be done without an alarm.

After reading this thread, I called up Statefarm and got a quote today for my R6. only PLPD is $210/year.

Thats quite a bit cheaper than Nordic, as they were charging me around $500/year.

    Another +1 for State Farm!!

Just called and got a quote for full coverage insurance $50 cheaper than my non-full coverage i had previous with another insurer.

They will definitely be getting my business when my policy runs out
