How bad is it? If it needs to be repainted, Screamin' Paintworks is the place to go!

Warranty cover it ? or no? Most cars have some sort of Corrosion/Rust warranty, especially one 3 years old?
A Ferrari is a high maintenance chick, you spend money regardless of what you do with her. You can baby the C63, or slap on all seasons, and you won't be spending anything but yearly maintenance. Of course that's like dating a stripper and refusing to fuck her, which would make you gay.

I know of a previous 08 WRX owner that fought with their dealership to get the hatch repainted due to major rock chipping and rusting of their hatch. They ended up paying for the bill.

    I'd talk to your dealership.

For a car that new, the rust bubble was probably caused by a foreign metallic contaminant that got on the paint. It started rusting. Normally you just get rid of using a claybar and it will be the end of it. However, if it is on the paint for long enough (and it doesn't really take that long...), it will rust through the wax, clearcoat and the paint down to the body... causing it to rust.

I did have that situation before on one of my cars and it did make the paint bubble (we are talking a about a bubble that's less than a couple of mm large). I claybar my car and the bubble hasn't been any worse and no rusting on the body is occuring.

The warranty is 3 years 60000kms and I am over on both.... Maybe I will try to clay bar it more often but I'm only in Calgary 5 days a month with no garage....

Word, I have some body work to do on both my trucks, and I'll be hitting up them without a doubt.

I found a few other *really* good body shops, but for the perfect touch each and EVERY time, why go anywhere else?
