Default Any tips/things to look out for on the motorcycle road test?

Just wondering if anyone has completed the class 6 road test recently. Just finished a course through too cool motorcycle school and had a great time but now its time for my license. I'm wondering if anyone can share what their mistakes were (if any) witha fellow noob.

Like Trevor points out from Too Cool, it is typically cancelling signal, speed (too slow), balance on the bike on certain turns and starting on a hill(very easy just rev the shit out of it and ease clutch). Other then that just look out for school zones and ensure you enter major roads appropriately without any danger.

I lucked out and was scheduled for the last test of the day and it was a really nice day out so the guy wanted to go home and the test lasted only 15 minutes.

^^ yup always be in the ready position. exagerate (sp?) your mirror checking and visual scanning. They will definitely check for that.

    Yay for too cool!!!

    here is what I remember:

-before going into an uncontrolled intersection slow down (they want to see your brake light come on). Before going through check left and right

    -always cancel your signal

-when stopped left foot on ground, right foot on rear brake

    -ride left of center

-when turning right: move from the left of center to the right of center

-when starting on the hill remember the set up that too cool taught you

    -relax!

    - then remember the other basic rules of the road- shoulder check, full stop at stop signs, speed (fast & slow) school/playground zones

I went to southland registry it was easier then class 5, all he said was make sure you don't duck walk off start, check mirrors. He said ride where comfortable you dont have to stay in the left side, depends on traffic etc. watch school zones

i remember when i took mine 2-3 yrs ago. my only mistake was not signalling going out of the parking lot at the beginning of the test. lol

and yah, like others said. watch your speed and make sure you signal and cancel them after and practice your uphill start.

    good luck!

Give the throttle a quick crack when you pass cute young girls at bus stops.
