    Default Business Gifts?

Has anyone received strange or unusual business gifts during their time working?

I met with prospective consultants today from the Barry area, and they brought me a mens small Barry Colts (OHL) jersey. I know it's more of a symbolic offering etc etc, but it strikes me as odd. I'm not particularly sure what to do with it, either. It's not something I'd hang in my office or wear, but get the sense throwing it in the back of the closet for eternity may not work either.

Share your suggestions and stories, I know I can't be the only one to have received something random.

    Usual: Pens
    Awesome: A fisher Space Pen!

Awesome combo: Given two bottles of wine from one company, then within hours given a wine decanter and four glasses.

Weird: Just got given an air-o-swiss travel humidifier. I thought that was pretty odd.

Flames tickets are travel mugs...nothing out of the ordinary.

If the jersey is a Scheifele or Telegin jersey I will buy it from you.

    It's just a blank one.

At my last position, a suppliers rep gave me a single Flames preseason ticket..

Hockey tickets, stampede tickets, beers, bottles of vodka, gift cards to restaurants, and tickets to local events is the standard cool stuff. Lots of little crap too. Only "out there" one I've ever been offered was Euro cup tickets. They would've been amazing, but it was too much and I felt like he was trying to buy business, soI had to say no.

I'm in the field, so we get mostly baseball caps and cigarette lighters. Good idea shuffling them off to summer students! My friends don't even want that crap.

The only things I get are company baseball caps. Which is fine, since the filth they go through, I need as many as I can get my hands on.

At a job I once had, I used to get hockey tickets, mugs, pens, laptop bags, processors, computer cases, even an all expenses paid 'customer appreciation' trip to Scottsdale.

The strangest by far was a vendor once even tried to give me a sword.

Where I currently am, I'm not even supposed to accept flames tickets.

Edit: I found the pic of the sword on the internet (vendor was NZXT)
