hey guys i am new to calgary, i am not to sure of any shops that will rebuild brembo brakes in calgary.

i tried google but have not had any luck.

can anyone give me some advice or direction as to the best place to go?

i am pretty sure my pistons are sticking in my rear left brake as i have a squeal and a pull to the left.

    Erm, Valentine Volvo?

That's where you're going to have to get the rebuild kit from anyway.

Just buy a new caliper, Its going to hard to find some one to rebuild it. In shop caliper rebuilding is not something that has happened in like the last 20 years. I would be suprised is Valentine would rebuilt it.

Seriously, a Brembo caliper has to be one of the simplest caliper designs there is. I've rebuilt dozens of calipers in my life and it's super easy. Just get a rebuild kit and do a little research online.

    Or buy a new caliper.

All calipers are easy to rebuild. There is nothing really special about a brembo, its not like its made any differently. Most of the problem with in house rebuilding is they leak. You buy the $40 seal kit, you use a brake boar hone. and it will leak in lunder a month.
you buy a seal kit and take it to a shop. You will not get any form of warranty because its not a proper repair. When that caliper leaks its going to soak the pads, now your doing pads and rotors because of a poor repair. A poor man pays twice.

I've never had to hone a bore in a caliper, maybe I'm just lucky. Never had one leak after replacing the seals either.

.... I've used this link time and time again when rebuilding brembo's (done 2-3 of them) and have never had a problem. If you're mechanically inclined, go for it, it's not too hard, all you have to do is take your time.
