in aviation this is s.o.p, we use plastic/metal cannon plugs through bulkheads (firewall in your case) always, very smart of you sir.

all cars should have this if you rip apart your engine frequently, takes 3 seconds to disconnect.

Having worked with avionics type harness and cannon plugs, I can't wait till the day when automotive start to use this type of connectors.

For the OP, why did you had to grind off all the spot welds?

sorry the OP? I was grinding all the spot welds so that its flat, then used puddy to fill pin holes.

Well my goal was to have it ready to go for that Season Opener meet in Edmonton May 5th? butttttt i dont think it will be together by then...

some parts are still atleast a month away before they ship. and well now I am deciding if i want to do a repaint (champ white), just not happen with how the paint is right now with the mismatch bumpers and such.

before DTP for sure though haha
