They came knocking on my door and said they can lower my electricity by 50-80.00 a month.

was that a question?
Just wondering if anybody uses them?
I googled them but would prefer to hear some info from the people that actually use it.
I was foolish and used them... They are not a reputable company and are all around terrible to deal with. I made back my cancellation fee in savings (with over a couple years left) in 2 months. Don't sign with them. I got out as soon as I could and never looked back. If they come around again, don't give them anything and don't talk to them any more than you need to.
They're coming around now a little more aggressively, because of the recent spike in Electricity prices. and using that to scare you into signing a contract.
A) they don't do water, so you'd still need to pay for that and fees somewhere else
B) Signing a 5 year contract is stupid. Especially when somebody like Enmax will let you adjust it as many times as you want, and lock in at any time and cancel at any time.
C) They're shady from start to finish. They weren't the least bit surprised when I called to ask them about cancelling. I guess it's a common question.
If you'd like to Google more, They're formally known as "Alberta Energy Savings". They're an American company that came in to compete here. Look on other forums (and probably this one too...).
Edit:
Because I really don't want to see anyone make a mistake and sign up with them:

Did you find any reviews on google that weren't overwhelmingly negative with warnings and recommendations not to use them?Originally posted by cancer man

I found one guy burried within a forum of 100+ complaints, that said he signed up with them and has no idea whether it's been good or bad.Originally posted by tenth
