Drop the engine and tranny together out the bottom with two floor jacks.

    Done it tons of times.

With a jack! Take the wheels off the back and drop the ass on the ground, it helps.

I'm going to try this but my exhaust wont be easy to drop. What do you use on the back end to block it up so nothing scrapes?

Well i wasnt able to get my hands on a engine crane until today, big thanks to Mike and Matt B. for getting me one!

I took off the bumper so i could start trimming it for my intercooler core if i got bored

and i found this, PnP anyone?

took a brake to shave my pussy

i needed to remove the axles. Yay for princess auto quality

    time for an upgrade

I had a hell of a time getting the pin for the shifter to come out and not having the right tools for the job dont make things any easier, but i modified a random bolt to do the job

and with the magic of the internet

Engine bay is going to get a good scrub down. ill be starting my wire/brake like tuck soon!

started the wire tuck tonight, didnt get very far....

the original plan was to relocate the fuse box to the glove back but after some test fitments the modifications required to make it work seem unnecessary. so after a little playing around i chose here

since my car is base model and does not have air bags ill be placing it here, fit much nicer. ill rig something up so i can just pop the dash panel off for easy access.

    got the main harness out

    bay practically free of wires

tomorrow i will try and get the fuse box mounted and wires soldered in place so i can move onto the headlights next.

Didnt get as far as i want to this weekend, too much other stuff going on but i managed to get the dash out and passenger side completely wire tucked. ill start on the driver side when i get around to it but probably not till after Christmas. building cars near Christmas hurts the wallet and when you brother's Bday (Dec12) and mother's bday (Dec25) are in the same month things can get out of control quickly. so for my brother's bday i polished his car. turned out pretty good, its a 3 stage polish. also the whole front end is 3M including half the hood, before i started the 3M was starting to fade but now u can hardly tell its even there.

You know if you crack open the fuse box from the bottom..there are 3 plugs which separate the fuse box from the harness... No need to cut the harness and I moved mine in my glove box just had to push the harness back in though the firewall and plug the fuse box in..

The wires need to be extended that's why they were cut
