Wow man, i only read page 9 but that is one hell of a story. Couldn't believe that body work on the red car.

Yup Benson L/S Vtec with a GTX3582, should be peppy lol
Yeah i was pretty crushed when all that went down.... well the show must go on i guess lol
Almost finished designing and building my airbox, very pleased with how it turned out.I have a crabon fiber headlight on the way that is essentially just a duct to feed the air box from the top and my Naca duct will feed it from the front
some card board engineering lol
Naca duct feed

Finished installing my rear extended wheel studs... unfortunately Hondas are built to rust so most of the bolts rounded off which meant i had to pull the whole rear trailing arms off to get them off.
Also i was finalizing the fitment on my Intercooler piping... or lack there of. the piping that came with the Full Race kit was terrible! Almost contact the right wheel and does not clear the bumper when installed, which led to this
I decided to remake the intercooler piping in 3" instead of 2.5". Let the pie cuts commence
37 pie cuts later heres what i got tacked together. I am extremeley happy with how it turned out. Got rid of the multiple silicone coupler connections and replaced them with a single pipe and two boost clamps. Old VS New
My ducted head light will be in next week so hopefully i can finish my air box then i can begin the exhaust system and finally get her running! stay tuned

Out of curiosity you're not running those wheels are you? Buddy's integra that had that motor spun literally every year and couldn't hook for shit... Hope you plan on getting some good fat rubber on that car
Defintely not! prolly gonna stretch some 195s or something it looks sick!....
JK i have a set of 225 Dunlop ZII for cruising on my SSRs which are obviously not gonna cut it for the track. still havnt found a suitable tire/wheel set up for track. would like to run a 15 with some fat tires but im still undecided on my brake set up so wheel clearance is still up in the air at the moment.

Nice build man love the piping work, keep up the updates

Progress has slowed because of christmas, naturally, how ever i managed to removed and install my roll cage from the previous chasis to the new one.... in one peice!!! it was challenging to say the least but i managed to pull it off. She is off to the original cage maker to weld it back into place and extend it further to the front to make it a full 6 point cage. Once that is complete i will be sending it off to the body shop to have the interior and engine bay painted so final assembly of the engine and interior can begin!
some parts arrived! EK9 Rear bumper support. 2.8lbs vs the USDM 12.65lbs

Massive update!!! i know its been ages since my last update but i assure you it was worth the wait! You guys can follow me on Instagram for quicker update @kidvtek.
I installed my CTR rebar. The aluminium sheet you see is actually a rear splitter that i made after cutting out the spare tire tub for allow for my diffuser to sit flat with the bottom of the car.

i then finished my diffuser mounting brackets which allow for rake adjustment of the diffuser.

i tried a number of bolt on flares from miatas to AE86, the 86 flare was actually very close but they all moved the center of the wheel arch either forward or backwards and made the wheel look off center when mounted. i purchased a fenrder roller and went to town! i flattened the lip of the inside of the fenders 'paper thin', then progressively pulled the fender using pie cuts on the inside of the fender. i then shaped the inside of the wheel tub to fit the wheel. here are the results.

They actually fit now!!! the nice part is my suspension is almost fully lowered and my wheels fit inside the tub as they camber in! im also almost at zero camber right now so i still have some room to tweek my suspension settings. We shall see how these tires hold up traction wise, idealy on my track wheel i would like to try and fit a 245 wheel all around.
