    Thanks for all the kinda words guys I really do appreciate it! I'm pushing to have it running within the next couple weeks! Waiting on a couple last minute parts to arrive.

    On the previous turbo set up it was 400hp, with my cams turbo and fuel setup I'm hoping to tickle 500. I'm planning on changing out the HKS Vpro for a full AEM infinity setup with COP conversion.

    Wow this is so sick, I literally spent 2 hours reading your entire thread. Was never really a fan of Hondas buy you literally changed my mind.

    And great come back from the messed up chassis. Really excited to see the finished work.

    It has been far too long since my last update! I suppose if you are following me on Instagram (IG: kidvtek) you would have seen that I managed to get my car running in late October! Been busy with life and trying to work the car as much as possible before spring, I apologize for the late update and lack of pictures! Here are a few pictures/videos I have, better pics to come this spring!

    ill start things off with my custom plate, very original haha

    For my birthday i decided to spoil my self and do something I have been wanting to do for a while. I started off with a new Rywire harness

    [URL='https://flic.kr/p/EyCoVG']

    I also made the decision to switch standalones. HKS Vpro is an excellent product, however i dont like the fact that you must be a dealer to have access to the software to make tuning possible. Opted for something much more user friendly, AEM Infinity!

    [URL='https://flic.kr/p/E4nuHR']

    Let me start off by saying what a simple and painless procedure this was! It was almost as simple as installing and turning the key! The VE based software and simple setup wizards on the AEM make vehicle base calibrations extremely simple! The car has never ran better! The AEM alone with the Rywire harness made the COP conversion easy.

    Some very promising numbers going into my scheduled dyno session that following weekend.

    [URL='https://flic.kr/p/ESysSv']

    However the night before my dyno day i ran into some complications. Large amounts of oil were beginning to make its way to the floor. I found oil leaking out of the intake manifold base gasket.... lots of oil.... my breather tank was also venting quite a bit of crank case oil when cold. i proceeded with a compression test/leak down with healthy results. I figured the valve stem seals were badly worn or dried out from years of storage so i ordered new seals along with a timing belt. This wasnt all bad news, doing valve stem seals meant removing the cams, which gave me a good reason to install my new GSC T1 Turbo cams . After removing the intake manifold to replace the oil soak paper gasket, the source of my oil leak revealed it self. A plug from the LS/Vtec conversion was loose and pouring out pressurized oil into the intake manifold. i removed the plug to see is completely bare with no thread tape or sealant what so ever. i cleaned it all up reinstalled the plug and my oil leak was gone. since i had all the parts i went ahead with the valve stem seal replacement and cam install!

    [URL='https://flic.kr/p/EQgVjL']

    Out with the old, in with the new. The GSC T1 Turbo cams are such great quality, very aggressive as well. i also took this time to re-toque my head, install my upgraded valve springs with titanium retainers and Jun cam gears.

    [URL='https://flic.kr/p/EsgGk8']

    [URL='https://flic.kr/p/EYrSUm']

    After it was all buttoned up and camshafts degreed i fired it up and she was running smooth!!... too smooth... there was no lumpy idle, she sounded stock... i took her for a drive and it felt worse than the GSR cams in it before, lazy, no mid range. I phoned GSC about the degreeing procedure and they explained to me that these cam shafts were designed for factory cam gear and degreeing was not necessary. I set the cam back to factory and well here are the results

    [URL='https://flic.kr/p/E4nXnH']

    Super lumpy idle, much more mid range performance and pulling quite a bit of vacuum at idle. Extremely happy with the car right now! One thing i have noticed with the data logging capabilities of the Infinity is that i have a 10psi fluctuation in fuel pressure as i get on throttle. I have purchased a Radium fuel pulse dampener to help aid this problem. I have rescheduled my dyno session for this weekend! will post again with power figures soon! stay tuned!

    Haha ill try and keep on top of my updates, i honestly have been too busy pulling all nighters on the car to even get my phone out to take pictures, it always slips my mind! Ill try and get more pictures though, next step is to install my Radium Fuel pulse dampener (which Vex had in stock, that was great!) And build my titanium exhaust.

    Are you doing your own exhaust or having someone do it?

    Ill be making it out of 3" titanium, my coworker is capable of welding titanium so he will be helping me out with it. all other supplies i have sourced through Ticon industires

    Update:
    After some data logging with the new changes one thing was very clear that i was having a fuel pressure issue.

    download_20160308_223303 by Guglianoh, on Flickr

    each vertical white line represents one second time lapse. You can clearly see a large fluctuation in fuel pressure multiple times per second and increasing as throttle increased. What was even more interesting was what else was found in the same data log file

    download_20160308_223748 by Guglianoh, on Flickr

    This is showing the injector pulse width being changed by the Infinity to compensate for the fuel pressure fluctuations which were over 10 psi and consistent frequency.
    I managed to get my hands on a Radium pulse damper locally and installed it today

    IMG_20160308_202648 by Guglianoh, on Flickr

    And here are the results
    download_20160308_223438 by Guglianoh, on Flickr

    Again each vertical white line indicated 1 second, you can clearly see the fluctuations are practically gone. Very pleased with the Radium damper, and of course the AEM infinity. Counting down the days until my Dyno sessions! cheers

    Very cool project! Those SSR wheels look insanely good. I'd like to see them in person sometime.

    Quick question about the intake tube pictured on the first page of this thread, do you still have it? I have the arc box, but missing the arm

    Man I am so excited (almost too excited) to see what this thing can do on a dyno!!

    Do you have any idea what kind of numbers you might produce?

    I wish I had the resources to do something like this to my EK

    Low to mid 400's.

    Careful when using the term "ek", its trolling season
