That Torres hit is pretty nasty, but not the worst thing we've seen this season. It looked a little bit unfortunate in the way it went through, instead of an intent to injure. So maybe 3 games instead of 5?

I'm guessing 6 games.
Maybe if this was the regular season. I'm guessing 3 or 4.Originally posted by Aleks

You guys think the canucks and penguins are both going to be eliminated tonight? I have a feeling they'll both squeek out wins and extend each series. I don't know why but I just can't see both those teams going out in 4..
It is hard to believe, but both teams have been manhandled this round. I *think* we'll see both teams in top form, but it is entirely possible the two favourites might be out in sweeps.
.8 seconds, according to a couple of reports I've watched.Originally posted by TeamBestBud
Fucking disgusting. The puck was off hossa's stick for at least one full second, [/B]

Woudn't surprise me if they both got swept. Neither has shown enough drive to say they will pull off a win here. Certainly not the canucks anyways
I can eat more hot wings than you.
Torres suspended indefinitely. Guessing they may wait to see how badly Hossa is hurt.

Good. I think.
I still don't know how I feel about suspensions based on injury.
Fleury starting with a 0.798 save percentage, and that's already gone down.
These playoffs are proving how shitty Canadian goaltending is. I remember last time I said anything about that people mentioned Fleury.
I should have put money on LA, I was pretty sure about how that series would go. Van has a chance tonight though with Schneider in net.
ya, 1 min 19 secs in hahahahah....and they took another penalty.
NYR 1-0 40 secs in too
man both goalies in the pits phi series suck a nut
yep- at least Bryz has made a couple big saves (to keep his GAA under 4 lol.)Originally posted by JLau

So the canucks are starting schneider for tonight. Sorta surprised, Luongo hasn't played that bad. I think Vancouver is going to have to make some decisions about it's goaltending cause Schneider is going to be expensive.
Luongo has the worst stats next to Fluery and Bryzgalov and is clearly more emotionally vulnerable. Has he been TERRIBLE? No. But Schneider's been better. Starting him was a smart move, the brink of a first round exit is not the time to stand on sentiment.Originally posted by Freeskier

I think the score would be lower if they removed the goalies and played posts in the pit/phi series.
So if they win tonight, do you stay with Schneider for game 5? 6? Play him until the next series if it goes that far?Originally posted by Mibz

Bryzy out.
Good, Bryz is crap
It isn't even a question, it wouldn't be the first time that has happened, like with Thomas and Rask a few seasons ago. Luongo won't be playing again these playoffs.Originally posted by Freeskier
