Specifically looking for Star Specs, imo best bang for the buck. Is there a place to get them locally, I have checked tirerack, which would be my last option? looking for 225/40/17
thanks

He is a Tirerack dealer, so I wouldn't doubt that is where he orders them from. So what? He will get you your tires cheaper than ordering direct from Tirerack. Ask him for a quote.

Just mounted some Star Specs for my S2000, great price and very quick. Also his tire mounting machine is awesome.
+1 for Kyle Ho. Great pricing and honestly, I've never met any racing enthusiast that changes his tires as frequently as he does. This guy has experience with shit loads of different tires.
What kind of an awkward size is 225/40/R17? The Dunlop Z1 Star Spec does not offer tire for that size
Pretty sure the new Azenis have the same compound at the Z1 Star Specs..... vulcantire in the states has always served me well for Falkens.
Kyle Ho or Tunerworks (mine will be here this week)

+1 More for Kyle Ho @ SpecR
I got my Star Spec's from him last year and couldn't of been happier (both with price and instalation). At the time I couldn't decide between the Star Specs, Ecsta XS's or RE-11's and he talked me through the whole process to get me the right tires
Another +1 for Kyle Ho at Spec R.
He doesn't only sell you tires, but he supports the whole motorsport community. I met him at a local AutoX event and he's been helping me choose tires and all my other auto parts needs. He is actually one of the major sponsors of the local AutoX and racing events.
If he's a dealer for TireRack, do you suppose he'd order from Blaskin and Lane?Originally posted by dangleberries

I've bought from him several times. I was very pleasantly surprised to discover that he was more meticulous and took more care of my rims than I did.Originally posted by Prostrho

a friend told me once he charged same price as TireRack but gave free install which my friend didn't need b/c TireRack does mount+balance anyway.Originally posted by xviper

my mistake tho, never meant to trash Kyle Ho, hence the sarcastic trollolol
I'm actually ok with him charging the same as TR, at least someone would order it, take care of all the shit so I dont have to haul the tires myself, find a shop to put them on. Everyone knows how to order from tirerack but its too much work for me....Originally posted by dangleberries
