I want to send a gift to a friend in South Africa. Nothing bulky though (just an ipad and some accessories).
Its not urgent, looking for a company that offers affordable rates and reliable service. Any recommendations?

Canada post, but international shipping w/ tracking, my guess would be around $70 and above.
Don't know how much UPS, FedEX, DHL cost
if it's no rush, just send it regular mail via CP and just have it insured. Probably $30-40 and will be there in 2 weeks
^^^ taemo is bang on.
and their insurance is pretty good. I've had packages lost and damaged and they have paid full replacement value both times.
2017 VW Jetta 1.4T (winter car)
2010 F-350 Nortruck Tool Shed
2007 BMW 5 (Wifey's)
2004 Audi A4 1.8T 6spd Stage III w/ Meth
1985 F-250 6.9L IDI w/ATS turbo
When I sent my passport from Cape Town to Canada, I think it cost $74 for them to mail everything back from Montreal if that helps. That was priority shipping and got there in 3 days.
Thanks guys, will give Canada Post a try.
