anyone else noticing killstreaks disappearing? I go on a rampage, kill a bunch, get a couple kill streaks, die, come back, and all I will have left is a UAV and I am missing my care package and whatever else...

and it does not happen all the time, but like 2/5 times, they go missing...

Can you confirm if:

A) you can pick your own maps

B) you can pick servers based on latency? If not 9/10 times you're on an american server and the delay makes it not fun. When everyone else sees things a half second before you do, it ruins the game IMO. Before, the only way to get 4 green bars of lag is to get 6 or 7 local people together and hope the server switches to one of them.

Myself and a bunch of friends want to buy for PC but I'm worried they haven't fixed the biggest issues with the last couple COD's.

I haven't played all that much yet but it seems like you have a choice between two maps and random before you start off the mission. You don't get to "chose" your own map. Just lets you vote on the two they bring up. You don't get to chose based off latency either. That being said, I don't find it to be an issue whatsoever. I never found the opponent to have any sort of advantage at all. I kill them just as easily as they kill me and my K/D ratio is rarely below 1

I tried about 20 min of single player, most generic crap ever. Although that is par for the course with these war games. MOH, BF not much better. I must be getting old. Multiplayer is fun, but I think I like Halos 4s more.

If you have a decent internet connection set search preferences to best. I'm not getting bullshit deaths anymore where I put a clip into someone and they turned around and killed me. Also Demolition is great for spawning and leveling up. You always spawn across the map from each other. Not too many other problems on 360. I had one match where my classes disappeared but that's about it.

tried about 20 minutes of singleplayer before I couldn't stand it and went back to MP. Same shit as always.

Can you play any game mode in hardcore on PC? In Black Ops 1, they only had a few game modes available in HC but all of them were available on XBox, it was weird.

And is there a level restriction for hardcore mode? It's the only mode I find fun.

Your comment about the lag is encouraging. In BO1, if I had 3 green bars of lag, I'd be bottom of the scoreboard, if I had 4 green bars, I'd be at the top. The difference was extremely significant.

No level restrictions. I also only play HC. I can't stand normal mode. I just checked how many games there are for normal and HC. Turns out there are alot more games you can play for normal mode. I didn't realize that when I bought it. Well that sucks...
