    Hey guys,

If you want to join a fairly active motorcycle group in Calgary. Facebook search "403 Riders" That's where all the action is! Meets are set up and posted ahead of time, not just a last minute thing. Great place to meet other riders.

Wee. I hope we can have a couple more weeks of hot sunny days like today. Leaves are starting to fall hard now.

^ What year is your R6? I cant believe I saw a guy riding today, it was 0C this morning when I saw him.

EDIT: Nevermind, I saw when browsing the photo gallery section it said 2001 R6.

Lol, two words, Fuel injection. you'll thank me profusely when you get a bike with it.

Haha, what's so brave about it? If the roads are dry then I'll be riding, I'll just make sure to bundle up. Especially early season when you get those week-2 week long teasers before another dump.

    ^^ you ruined my moment

As long as the roads are clear it's fine to ride as he said. The cold weather isn't so bad until it hits about -8 to -10.... That's when you need some good winter gear.

The past Sunday made feel terrible for winterizing the bike already. Lesson learned for next winter.

I wont even winterize because of all the chinooks we get. If it gets super cold for a super long time then I'll just put that bitch in the living room. I like riding too much.

Riding when it's cold just isn't as fun as during the summer time. I don't feel like I'm missing out on anything.

I saw him on Barlow, heading north approaching glenmore, I went for a good ride around calgary in Sunday afternoon. Cold but tolerable. Monday was the kicker. It was 12 degrees in the morning i haven't seen morning temps like that since July.

Not at all, I'm pretty sure most people who hit gravel and take a fall aren't paying close enough attention to their surroundings and what's in front of them. Same as people who don't warm up their tires on cold mornings, you just have to be careful.
