They can't come soon enough. I want to drive one. No word yet on when we're expecting them at the dealership I work at.

Price seems pretty competitive, I would definitely want one optioned out though. Those recaros are super nice.

Those are what I would look for too..Originally posted by Cos
But what about the CVT and AWD? This thing is a piece of shit.
Watch the cat for different holiday hats!
The site shows it as a 2013 and says "Coming late 2012."Originally posted by waypastfast

What am I missing here? AWD I can understand but CVT? Does anyone make a CVT that's good for performance?Originally posted by Cos

Will we be getting a Focus RS still as well?
Hot Hatches are meant to be FWD though.

This will be my next car, in early 2014. I dont think were getting the RS here.
Nope. No RS in fact the development of the RS has been put on hold I believe. Love those seats. The segment is getting crowded with ST, MS3, WRX, and GTI. I'd definitely take this car over the current MS3 and WRX models as the regular Focus is quite the handler so this should be very good.Originally posted by revelations

More and more new cars are coming out with sound symposers for the engine

In the looks department, Focus ST -> GTI -> HUGE HUGE HUGE GAP -> WRX -> MS3
Don't count out the Lancer Ralliart, Genesis Coupe, Veloster and the FRS/BRZ. And even the BMW 128i. It's cool how so little cash can buy so much fun these days. Back in 2000, a fully loaded Celica GT-S was $36k!!!!!
You have a couple of photos that are great... you must be very good at photoshop!
GTI, MS3, WRX, Ralliart are all way overpriced in Canada. Domestic automakers have narrowed the gap. Honda has done it to an extent with the Si. Subaru has done it with the BRZ. Hope the trend continues.Originally posted by clem24

I told my brother about the soundaktor in his 2011 GTI and we removed it right away. Such a big difference.
Fake sound = fucking gay

Thanks for the 14 years of LOLs. Govern yourselves accordingly and avoid uppercut reactions!
Its not fake sound on the ST - unlike the BMWs for eg., its a mechanical system that delivers specific sounds from the engine into the cabin.
Mustang has a tube that runs from the intake to the interior to amplify engine noise in the cabin. The reason they did it is because the interior is so quiet that engine noise is isolated and in a sporting car that's not desired. This way you get the engine note and keep out all the road noise. I don't see the problem myself especially on 4 cylinder engines that inherently don't sound that great.Originally posted by revelations

But anything like the 2011+ GTI/GLI/Beetle, 2012 Golf R, 2011+ Audi TT, BMW M5 (F10), and Audi E-Tron then I do not want.
