I read it. I'm just thinking that if Samsung was gonna copy iTune's App Store, they should learn to make it universal across all their products.Originally posted by LilDrunkenSmurf

Not all apps work on every iPhone. Some no longer work on the 3gs, iPad 1, so why would every app work across every samsung phone?

They also have their own gamehub, musichub, and videohub apps.
Check the Google play store, Modern Combat probably works on your phone, however the free version on the Samsung app store is only for S3.

@LilDrunkenSmurf
I understand discontinued support for again products but SGS2X is still pretty top of the line, especially if there's still support for SGS products.
Did you try the play store?Originally posted by jwslam

I'm thinking of buying a SG3 from Kijiji, but does it matter what provider the phone is with if i'm going to unlock anyways?
does the bell vs Telus vs Rogers have different features etc? From what i researched they are all same spec but i can't confirm.
Pretty sure they are all the same spec, worst case one might have a provider specific app on it. So no it wouldn't matter who the provider is.
The big three are all the same.Originally posted by trliniar

I got it when I woke up too.. I was all excited, thinking it would be Jelly Bean
I still think the S2 and Galaxy Nexus would be great phones. I just picked a Nexus a month ago, high def screen, dual core, great size. You can get an S2 with a 720p hd screen as well.Originally posted by kaput
How do older Samsung or other Android handsets compare to the S3? My apple 3GS is starting to die and I'm thinking about switching over to Android but I don't think I need something as powerful and expensive as the S3. I use it more for the maps, email, calendar, memos, etc. and games no more intense than Tetris. Is an S2 a good option? Or something else? I'll probably get an Android tablet to go with it hence why I'd like to get a cheaper phone.
Part of the reason I went for a nexus was that it's cheaper, and there are going to be new Nexus devices out in just a couple more months.
