First of all you havent "wrote" one in a while

There is Wizards you can you in Microsoft word that can help you out with the format. It depends what you are you can using it for if it is just a basic kinda job you can probly get away with using a Wizard. If it is a higher end job you might look at getting it done for you i got mine done for about 100$ and its awesome..... compared to other resumes it really does standout. If you are interested i can get you the number.

There is also lots of templated on the net that you can work from.

    Good luck

Actually, it's "haven't written one in a while", and since you are nitpicking...."There are Wizards in Microsoft Word......."

Make sure your strengths and experience is blunt, in fact, write about your job experience and then delete everything that is useless.

    ex.

    From

"While I worked at McDonalds I was able to gain valuable organizational and management skills."

    To

    "McDonalds
    - Valuable organizational and Managerial skills"

Bad example but you get the point.

If the formatting in word doesn't really look good to you, i have copies of cover letter, resume, and buisness etiquite formats on paper from the Haskayne School of Business if you want it. They show a comparitively different form than what Word will show you and from my personal experience this format works well, so far. Let me know if you'd like them, i can fax them to you or something.
