"Boogie’s Burgers is one of those places in Calgary that serve good fast food without being a chain. Boogie’s dates back to 1969, when it was started by the guy who also started the famed Peter’s Drive-In."

as for Petres - its only "overrated" because its calgary - theres nothing else .

I was kind of shocked to find that the cheese curds in real poutine isn't really supposed to be melted... I prefer mine melted but does give me a bit of an appreciation for Costco poutine since the cheese there is always cold.

That Montreal one looks awesome. One thing I find with all Calgary places is that they SMOTHER on the gravy... Everywhere I go I have to ask for half gravy.
You have a couple of photos that are great... you must be very good at photoshop!

La Belle Patate in Canmore has the BEST poutine I've had west of Ontario. Went there last weekend, steamed hotdogs are delicious as well!

The cheese is put on cold, but the hot gravy is supposed to warm it up without actually melting it. If the cheese is still cold, it's actually made wrong.

    warm cheese curds

Only out west is the beef/chicken gravy popular.

Clearly you haven't spent much time in Quebec.
I can eat more hot wings than you.

Necro-bump. Was at boogies today. Had the Keith, with spicy fries and amaze-onaise.
