    for those who did the too cool for school, what did you guys do like the day time or evening or the two day weekend? i am planning to go out and take the school end of the month.

    i was gonna do the all in two days just weekend 9 hours each day.

    I did the weekend. It went really well for me I think. We went from rolling downhill trying to balance the bike without power the first day to going around the northwest for our road ride the next. They are thorough and it didn't feel like it was rushed. You get plenty of time for the drills/practice

    thanks, ill think ill do the weekend course, thanks i am hope you meet some of the riders on here when i finish.

    and which is a good starter bike 600cc?

    I also did the weekend course and ended up with a Ninja 650. Go to Blackfoot and sit on everything, figure out what's comfortable for you.

    Wouldn't it be illegal to show up on a bike? Since you obviously don't have a class 6 license? This is for my dad, I've had my license for quite a few years now but did one of those parking lot exams with Calgary Safety Council (I think that was the name).

    Not if somebody with a Class 6 rides or drives with him. If you escort him to the test then it's totally legal.

    You'll have to go inside to do your paperwork and wait for your appointment, so they probably won't see you pull up. The registry can't give you a ticket anyway, heh.
