Looks great HeavyD
IMO a nice light smoke on the tail lights and side markers would look sharp.

I do get great service there, especially when I mention my name, haha.
i wish my wheels would hurry up and get here
i still need struts/shocks. would you recommend the d-specs?
First time I have used them and so far I'm happy. It was between the D-Spec and Koni Yellows. I have used the Yellows in the past and they are probably the best all around shock for a track car but IMO even on the softest setting are a little on the firm side for a daily driver. The D-Spec has a wider range of adjustability so I can dial in a stock like or softer street ride if I wish.Originally posted by ercchry

I spent quite a bit of time researching this before i ordered mine. seems like the d-specs are kinda in the middle of the line.Originally posted by ercchry

there better than the frpp and eibachs but the konis are the best.
koni has 2 different shocks the strt and the sports(yellows). the strt have no adjustabilty and just work good as stock replacements for lowered cars. The sports on the other hand are just beasts and if you do pony up and get them you wont be dissapointed.
As well your gonna need new strut mounts with almost all shocks as there all designed for the 2009 and down mustangs(eibachs do have a 2010+ fitment and koni just came out with there 2010- shocks but are on nationwide backorder since they just were released)
And I would also like to point out no matter how much you spend on your suspension the car is always gonna try and remind you that there still is a solid rear axle in the back. (which is a huge sour point for me)

Love it, great looking car. Please do not do any other mods as it looks perfect as is, simplicity is king.
I used the 2005-2010 shocks and 2011 GT500 strut mounts. The 2011+ strut mounts are junk in comparison.Originally posted by Crazyjoker77

Not to thread hijack but what are you getting?
You seem like the type of guy to go out of the ordinary and get a different style of rim on your car.
they should be here in a week or so... but if you must knowOriginally posted by Shlade

some people have no style in wheels lol you guys on the other hand do!
you know you just have to highlight it right? and that guy copied me! at least they will be different colours though
LOL no i didnt know that hahaha but ya, i think its an awesome way to go on these cars, gets away from the american muscle wheels that you always see on them.
Nice
"She takes premium dude! PREMIUM!!! DUDE!!!!"
few minor things that would really set it off (even more) would be to:
-tint the side marker lights as they stand out a lot on these cars.
-get the roush side splitters they flow amazingly well with the CS front valence you have, as well as having the added benefit of keeping rocks and shit off the side of your car and giving it a very aggressive look (i got mine for 160 shipped from roush)

get rid of the chrome 5.0 and pony badge in the grill, delete or black out, but the chrome definitely does not flow with your colour scheme at all.
Also interestingly enough those wheels look very close to my plasti dipped factory wheels lol but I realize your selection of wheels that fit with the brembos is very slim.
you guys really need the h&r ss springs, 1.7 front, 2.4 rear
i would like to get a little lower in the front, but i think the back is as low as you can go without notching something
that picture is old, my suspension is pretty well beefed up nowOriginally posted by ercchry

I'm running eibach sportlines (almost the same as the H&Rs) with koni strt dampers with maximum motorsport camber plates in the front. and J&M rear lower control arms and adj panhard bar.
I was worried about rubbing with the H&Rs as I'm running a 305wide tires in the back.(at the time i was doing my suspension no one would vouch for the H&Rs)
One thing that really disappoints me about these cars is their sub par suspension setup from the factory. Wheel hop was atrocious in most circumstances. but lowering and the LCA really fixed most of it.
The reason your drop isn't exactly level is because those springs where designed for the coyote motor which weighs 250lbs more in the front of the car.
As well I'm gonna hijack this thread a little and say I've got some BNIB frpp 3.73 gears complete with everything(bearing kit w/ revised bearing for 11+ and gaskets as well as 3L of 75/w-90 royal purple gear oil)
I'm content with my 3.31 rear end for now but this would be a huge upgrade for a 2.73 rear end equipped car
I'm not a big fan of H&R springs or Sportlines and IMO anything lower than pro-kits sacrifices performance/ride for looks as the suspension needs sufficient travel. I do have an adjustable panhard bar but I haven't decided if it's worth installing as the rear end is only out 0.5" and it's really only noticeable because I know to look for it. Also I kind of messed up and got BMR's most expensive panhard bar that has rod ends and it's probably going to be too noisy for street.
Nice car.
