Probably the same people that complain there are no venues or events for them to do their thing. When one pops up they complain its too much.Originally posted by streethondas

If there's still a spot I would like to get in with my 135i, I forgot to register before the deadline.
Late signups should pay a premium IMO.

By the way, where's a good place to pick up a decent helmet? What sorta certification does it need (ie. CSA, Snell, etc.)?

Thanks Redlyne_jr for setting this up. Was a ton of fun. Had to learn how not to drive sideways to set some good times. Can't wait to see pics.

What happened to you rage? You disappeared after only the first half! I too wanted a ride in the BS.
Ditto on the props to Redlyne_jr. Same goes to all those that sat in the car with me to give me advice - Kyle & Kevin particularly! Had an awesome first time at running AutoX.

The BS wasn't a fan of slow courses, not enough airflow for cooling. Gearbox oil temps kept creeping up near the red on the gauge, and I had to give the car a break after every 7 or 8 runs. Of course on my drive home, Deerfoot between Crossirons and Stoney, all the temps dropped back to normal.
But yea, I only intended to stay a few hours to begin with. By the end of my runs, I was running consistent 38.9's and 39.0's. My rear tires were toast, so really didn't need to do any more runs. Plus stopping every 7 or 8 runs got tiring.
Yea, Solo2 guys are always the most friendliest bunch willing to help. It was great seeing some of the old school guys out there, haven't seen 'em for like 7 years!Originally posted by mo_money2supe
