Sharp looking cars, but I was incredibly turned off by the interior. Its about as lack luster & plain jane as it gets. Almost what I'd expect from the original AE86, not 2013. Nice seats, but thats where it begins & ends.

Would certainly hope so. A great, balanced 200hp n/a is pretty decent, but it sounds like there's almost zero headroom for further modifying/tuning. The engines as they are are pretty damn boost un-friendly as well with their relatively high compression ratio.

If you take anything I have to say seriously, you're gunna have a bad time.

    I wouldn't be so hasty.

I have faith in this motor .. I mean all we need it to do is respond like a K-series in the Bolt on Dept and you'll have a very potent package.

The B-series honda didn't respond very well to Bolt on's, But a K-series is exceptional.

All of a sudden I/H/E with a quick tune results in 30-40whp. If the BRZ/FR-S is the same then it's gonna be sweet.

The K20 feels quick out of the box. The FB20 doesn't...

I would have to drive one I suppose.

to be honest I didn't do much research on the new Motor. I just checked out some specs.

    Yikes 84x90. undersquare

This thing won't like to rev much past where it is now. However this is Ideal for boost.

Also read it can be made to 2.5L

    It's the FA20/4UGSE not the FB20. 86x86mm.

    You're right

Awesome.. This changes some stuff especially with DI.

I also read they unveiled a turbo FA20, 296 hp or so.

    Big 2L power.

Saw a white one an asian guy driving it and it looks good in white and the back end tail lights look very similar to the modern Ferrari 458 italia.

    Looks really low and sharp

Just read now that the Rumored BRZ STi will be N/A with 250hp. That will make it top 5 Of all time, maybe 3.

Off the top of my head:

    Ferrari FFX 127hp/l or so
    JDM S2000 250ps, so about 122 hp/l

And now BRZ 125/L? They might as well go 260 and claim the title. Good publicity.

Don't get too carried away with the rumours. These cars have had more false rumours than any car in history. It came right from the mouth of Subaru's representatives on NASIOC that no significant changes would be made in the first couple of years of these models.

Yea I think that is what kills it for me, the performance specs would be half respectable for a car like that 10 years ago but not today. Hopefully they actually come out with something a little more potent. I think they are great looking cars and honestly might consider one, but not with performance numbers like that...
