What would you run then. I see a 225/40R18 is 1.88% difference. That is as close as I could get

Geez i have much left to learn about how different tires/wheels affect performance. I know the general idea is smaller and lighter wheels/tires equals less rotational mass. I had no idea they had a significant impact on gearing...........makes me wonder what my oversized 17's are doing to my integra's performance in auto-x.....

    Cannot tell if sarcasm...

They put on a tire size that changed the TOTAL WHEEL diameter by almost an inch and then acted surprised when it was slower.

    235/40-17, or 245/35-18 but not 235/40/18.
That's not sweat. It's your fat, crying.

borrowed from ft86club, I can't help but love some of the kits coming out for this car.
Can't help myself, I'm a ricer at heart...

IMO, this kit makes the car look more like a GT car than a Toyota with a body kit.

My family has 1 car on Star Specs and 2 on the Super Sports and I can tell you the Star Specs are better for the Auto X and track for flat out grip and durabilty but a much harsher noisier street tire than the Michelins.

I had them on a previous car and loved them to death, i found the road noise was not all that bad......maybe depends on size? I had small 13's with the dunlops, so much fun.

225/40/18 and 255/35/18 on my BMW and the drone from the tires between 70 and 80 is terrible!

Had the Star Specs on the S2000 but preferred the Michelin PS2s more. The Star Specs lacked fee and feedback.

    *sigh*
This car looks better and better every time I see it.

I don't want to go take a proper test drive because I'm scared I'll end up with one.

car looks better everytime I look at it. Funny enough, I actually see a lot of design from my M Coupe being reflected in the FRS/BRZ.

I think you should. Ripping around town in one of these would look mighty fun.
