So the last two were relatively easy - this next one you can't drive up to. There is a parking lot within walking distance, but that's about it.

What we're looking for is some elevated mountain bike trails in Calgary similar to this...

How safe the ones I've seen are is beyond me as I've never ridden on this kind of stuff, but there are a few sets of these carefully hidden away in a public park in Calgary and for starters, you can cross COP off of the list. Whomever built these had to hike all the stuff in over a good distance and would've had to probably have to have done everything in a rather clandestine fashion and I'm not even sure how extensive they are.

No clues to start as some of you are mountain bikers and may very well know where these elevated trails are.

    Fish Creek Park?

They used to be fairly extensive in there.

I think COP has a few raised sections like that, but I don't think there are any kind of old growth trees like that in the area...

K, not in 12 Mile Coulee, not at COP, not at Bragg Creek.

It's in Calgary and the pic I provided is just an example of what is in the park/green area I'm talking about - it's not an actual pic of what's at the area in Calgary that I'm speaking of.

Again, this green space/park is most definitely not well known - geocaching took me and the family there last year, was amazed such a wonderful, wild area exists within Calgary's boundaries.

From what I can remember there were several elevated sections including one that was a sort of banked corner style - could have been more, but I wasn't about to hike up and down the hills in the area. All I know is that if you messed up, the nearby trees would cause a whole lot of hurt to one's self.

Nope to both - let's just say that larger trees are needed to support such structures.
