The black part on the side is actually the part I liked the *least* on the R8. I always thought it looked out of place.

As has been said - take the black bits off and this is actually a really nice car.

There's an R8 kit for the TT as well, which actually doesn't look too bad at all imo. At least, it wouldn't look bad if it wasn't obvious you're trying to make a far lesser car look like a semi-exotic....

saw it in person parked at crossiron...some of the pieces already have chipped edge near one of the backup proximity sensors... such a great car ruined

Not a fan of it at all.

If I could have my way with that kit, I'd make the front grills on the side about 10% smaller to line up with the lights, the side vents for sure and the rear black trim changed to white and without the "vents". That being said, everything else is looks good...
