I saw some thing on ripleys where a guy would park like that from about 60 miles per hour - then slide sideways into the spot and stop just inches from the curb. He was so confident that they left a spot with only a couple of feet of leniency for his car in between a nice ass newer car (maybe a jag or something) worth around 100k and a 'priceless' classic. I saw it a long time ago but it was crazy how good he was at it.
