Question Recommended shops to get 3M Film applied

    Hey guys...first post here

Looking for recommendations as to what shops in Calgary are reliable for having the 3M film applied to my car. I could have gotten it done at the dealership when I bought it but they charge an arm and a leg for it.

*Oops...perhaps this might have been better suited for the detailing thread?

Check out refine auto they did a custom kit on the front end of my car. The crew that work there are very picky and top shelf

shadow tint has been used by myself and dozens of others on Beyond. Last time I checked, they were the go-to choice for anyone with a nice car.

Travis at Car Cosmetix does it out of his residence in McKenzie Towne. Because of that he usually beats the pricing of the stores by a good margin. Look him up! Great work.

Shadowtint. If it's good enough for rage2's AMG, then it's good enough for your Hyundai Sonata. I just took them 2 Mazda3's and they did a great job.

Next time use the search feature.

Shadow Tint was who I used, about 1/4th what the dealer wanted to charge and a fantastic job. They even reapplied a new piece on the bottom lip after my father decided to curb rash it.. at no charge none the less

    I got two quotes:

The first from south pointe toyota was $588.00 for my Camry. This included 18" hood, fender, mirror, and bumper.

The second was from shadow tint for $688.00 for 18" hood, fender, mirror, and bumper and $888.00 for a 24".

I decided to go with south pointe toyota.. they did a great job!

They're certainly big, but I don't know if they are the BEST I've tasted.

I got several quotes for front bumper, fender, mirror, and 24" of the hood for a 350z.

    Shadow Tinting - $688
    Refine Auto - Around $600
    Icon Tinting - $525

I went with Icon Tinting. They threw in 3M for the headlights and foglights (which i don't have) and i went back a week later for a free 3M waxing.

Didn't feel like starting a new thread, but do the shops that have been mentioned do coloured 3M as well?

What shop is the one that's off Barlow? I think it's Icon?

I had my window tint done there and they did an awesome job. Also waxed the 3M on the car I already had (for extra) but that looked great too.

What about just getting a set of headlights (BNIB) off the car done?

Shadow Tint did an excellent job applying some pain in the butt thick 3M film to my headlights. If they can pull that off, the rest has got to be amazing.
