Finally did a quick detail after being in storage for a few months. Used a bit of SwirlX, Autoglym Super Resin Polish, and NXT 2.0 - but these are all left overs from a year or so ago.
Anything great you guys have been using lately?

I haven't noticed any new products for 2012. But a great combo I've used is Wolf Chemical's WP-1NT nano sealing polish (Shine & Seal) as a base layer jeweling and their WP-0NT Nano paint coating (Body Wrap) sealant as a last step.
Another product I strongly recommend is Collinite's 845 wax. That wax is super durable. Lasted me throughout entire winter with 3 layers.
Menzerna. Yup.

I've been playing with some of the new spray optimum polishes lately and hey seem pretty decent. I can't remember if you have a polisher or not but if you don't just swing by I have 6
haha wicked, I just may take you up on that!Originally posted by sneek

Where are you buying Wolf's Chemical Hard Body from? All the sites from google is UK based.
I tried Opticoat, and it worked ok, would love to try Hard Body to see if its any better.

I am waiting for a pre-sale notification myself. If you are interested, I'll PM you and Neil4Speed once I get the email.Originally posted by Neil4Speed

Any word on the availability of HB? I'd love to get my car coated before winter.
Any news on this? I just finished applying my car with Ultimate paint guard plus+ but it seems HB is just better for look and durability.

Isn't that why you detail you vehicle? For better and deeper shine and paint durability?Originally posted by jadeboy

I don't recommend anyone to apply HB right now (or for the next few months) unless you have access to a heated garage for a day or two. In current weather, it won't cure properly.
I got a heated garage, with 8 t15 fluorescent light bulbs and a white epoxy floor - so it's fine.Originally posted by HiSpec

I am just wonder if anyone has used HB in Calgary. I've read one of the review that a "Chris" from Calgary has used the product.
I am using Ultimate paint guard plus+ sealant, it's good and will last about 6 months but I'm always looking for something that last longer and has darker and wet look.

Yup. He also applied HB to a brand new 2012 Tundra as a long term durability test. This truck is a family DD and will only be washed using wane (soap and rinse, no brush) and occasional 2BM wash (soap and/or ONR).
I've never used Ultimate PGP+, but if it last for 6 months; topping it with wax (as a sacrificial layer) will bring out the gloss even more!
How are the results with HB?
My favorite wax is NXT 2.0, it has nice dark and shiny look but it does not last long, so I went with Ultimate PGP+ which last a lot longer but it is not as dark or shiny.
