    Default WTB: Fun Daily Driver.

Hey guys, I recently moved back to Calgary and need a fun daily driver. Some of what I'm looking for is below:

First off the car must be manual, no auto's tippy's or dsg's please.

Second I'm trying to find a hatchback or wagon (or avant )

    audi b6 a4 avant
    volvo v70R
    vw mk5 gti (or gli)
    pulsar gti-r
    ls1 swapped fc
    bugeye wrx wagon
    s14
    1.8t or vr-t swapped mk2
    vr-t mk3

Prefer something awd, or something that comes with an extra set of winters.

Looking to spend a max of 15k, but can go over for the right car.

If you take anything I have to say seriously, you're gunna have a bad time.

    My shit-can AE86 is a fun daily.

I might even sell it for less than 15 grand.

    If you're interested PM me.

Yeah I saw that one, but it's in BC and I do not want! to do an oopi on something like that.

Thanks Neil but it's an auto, so no thanks

Rex that's a sweet integra but I can't stand the 3rd gen headlights. Needs jdm ITR front end on it lol.

Dave, that's not exactly what I had in mind but thanks for the offer.

Sentry do you have a build thread or something to look at?

Thanks for all the suggestions guys, keep em coming!

My Dad is selling his V8 mustang, drives surprisingly well in winter.
Has fairly 18' winters on rims, although I'm not sure if he's including them or not...

I had been looking at the speed 3's before and test drove one before I bought my s4 last year. I've heard they have transmission issues (and engine falling out of car issues for the early '06 models lol) But that might just be owners of newer cars being whiney. Might check a few out out here to see if I want to reconsider.

My dad has a speed 6 and I don't really like the feel of them, too heavy and wallowey stock, but that might also be because my s4 had good coilovers on it that I was used to.

Good call on the Saab, might have to check those out too.

The caliber... that's not funny lol. Neither is that specific gts lol.

Does it have to be local?

I was extremely close to pulling the trigger on this guy last fall (well, at least buying a ticket to go see it anyways). If my MR2 sold last autumn, I would have for sure.

    http://forums.vwvortex.com/showthrea...pped-and-built

Although, I probably would have removed the modded engine, sold it, and bought a stock JDM Sti to put in it (since it would've been driven year round)

edit: crap, just noticed it's sold. Must've been recent, I looked at the ad 2 weeks ago, and it was still for sale.

They're certainly big, but I don't know if they are the BEST I've tasted.

Local-ish would be nice, but I'm willing to travel for a nice car. Would like to avoid the OOPI inspection process tho. That damn thing always costs more money than you think it will one way or another.

Cool car with a good price, but if I spend that much I'm probably going to try and find something german/awd.
