I doubt any of you made it out... I decided to stroll down the street no rhyme or reason to the pics, some are from the parade (as they didn't appear later).
Did I mention I'm a mog addict?

wait... missed some beetle shots somewheres...
What's wrong with this bug...
And this one confused me... F100 front 88-98 chev stepside bed? But it was pretty cool
I knew I had more of this one...
I think thats a 50 Chevrolet not an F100.Originally posted by AndyL

The Charger Daytona is a neat car, 1 of 22 built like that. Interesting history, if I recall correctly it was wrecked when it was almost new and sat untouched for years.
Does anyone know if that Diablo is a replica? I am suspicious. Diablo Roadsters have a sliding roof that covers the hood, 99% of the time.

In the rare case it is absent:

I like those old Mack's
I think your right, it looks cheby, but I'm sure the owner said it was a ford cab?Originally posted by 71/454

Hey I forgot your in town aren't ya? You should pop in for a beer
I'm pretty sure when i talked to the owner of the diablo last year he said it was one of only 2 real ones in canada.
He owns res-q towing in didsbury if you wanna give him a call and find out for sure.

You sure that's the same guy you talked to?
Because none of the details match up on that Diablo.
Looks too short for starters (might just be the pics though). Has the old wing, early side skirts, the real early tails with the newer 6.0 front end.
If it is real, that's a very strange combination of parts.

I don't know for sure, but those wheels, I thought they were countache specific.
additionally, yeah, it looks way too short, and not nearly wide enough.
My money is a Fiero or MR2 kit car.
*edit* nvm, I am seeing a lot of those wheels on diablos.

An interior shot (or an awkward phone call) would settle the debate!
Diablo is a replica. Proportions are completely off.
If there were pictures at different angles or at least not parked next to whatever the giant white car is, it would be easier to tell! hahaOriginally posted by importracer1

edit: but yea I think the mismatched body parts give it away - even the seats: I think the Roadsters all had the thin piping going along the edges, not a full color chunk like that. Other Diablo's had those seats...

Just look at the guy kneeling compared to the car, that car is way too small to be the real deal.

Thanks for posting, I recognize quite a few of those from other forums.
Using those stepside boxes on older trucks was quite popular in the mid-late 90's as I recall. And that's definitely not a Ford cab. Unless it was extremely modified to look like a GM, lol!Originally posted by AndyL

The only Ford cabs of that vintage with split windshields were the pre-47 models. Everything after that had one-piece glass.
