Nice, we are planning on doing this for a bachelor party next year. How early did you have to buy tickets for the race?

Yo bro, are you from that goat Calgary car forum that get salty over lawn care, land rovers and circumcisions? That's straight fire.

Cos excellent trip report but quick Q, how did you get your wife to go to schwartzs and have poutine on the same day?

I need some advice since my better half would space these meals by at least 2 days, even during vacation!

We r foodies too and it's unfortunate you didn't hit the right spots. Mtl has so many restos just off the main drags that offer BYOB wine and 4 course chef menus for $25-$35 per person.

Does anyone know if it's still possible to drive on the F1 track (Not during gp month)? While I went to mcgill in the late 90s I use to be able to get on the track with my 1989 trd toyota supra. I would usually do it right bw sunrise and 7:30am in the summers before all the rollerbladers would start using the track.

Great photos and thanks for putting YUL GP back on the radar for me and the mrs.

Good write-up. I was shocked by Schwartz's as well. The food was pretty good, but even if there was no wait (waited 30 mins at 3PM on a random Saturday) I would be hesitant to go back.

Oooh, and speaking of craft beer, the Dieu du Ciel brewpub, and Belenux brasserie artisinale were both awesome for their microbrews with very friendly servers.

FWIW, I did 3 of the better reviewed clubs a month back for a bachelor party, and I'd rank them as 1) Kamasutra, 2) Chez Paree, and 3) Club Supersexe (and there are probably another half dozen or so that would rank higher had we visited them).
