I'm not sure, I haven't been into any stores yet. I'm assuming it will be on until at least this weekend.

Here is the link to the online store:

    http://www.flamesport.com

    Also jersey numbering is $45.

How do the practices work? Just show up and they will let you in? Is there cheap parking nearby?

Awesome thanks! I was gonna drop off my jersey at sportchek or hockey experts to have them ship it off to get it stitched but the numbering kit off the flames site is it the iron on stuff or real stitching? Does anyone know?

Edit. I just called and it's stitched on in case anyone is wondering. I'm gonna go drop off my jersey at fanattic now.

This reminds me of the member who got Dion to sign his jersey, except the autograph looked like shit so he tried washing it off

Telus just released their CI package details, $50 for the season. Their website information has not been updated.

What's the difference between Centre Ice and just the regular sports package? I usually just get the sports package since it comes with both TSN and Sportsnet, but I only watch hockey on it. Does Centre Ice still get all the games?

CI shows all NHL games (or at least 99% of them). However they will blackout all locally broadcasted games.

So none of the home games that are on TSN, Sportsnet and CBC?

Yeah so you're just paying for the remainder games that are not broadcasted locally.

Exactly, before the Flames had every game on TSN/SN/CBC they’d have all remaining Flames game (usually FSN) on center ice. Now it’s really only useful if you like to watch other teams around the league.

Not sure how it is now but there was limited HD content (a couple games per night) and everything else is just standard def and sometimes terrible feeds that are almost unwatchable.

I need an HD feed for another for the Habs (Flames are my #2 team), I doubt I can watch non HD (spoiled by HD we are) so this is a deal breaker of sorts. As I already signed up for CI, this needs to be investigated further or I am back to subscribing to RDS in HD from Telus.

All Canadian teams will have at least their home games in HD and I suspect the vast majority (if not all) of games on CI will be in HD.

The only problem with HD content on CI in the past was some of the smaller market US teams didn't have HD gear in their arenas or their local broadcast affiliate didn't broadcast their games in HD.

I think that has since changed, but who knows.

Maybe they're better with more HD games now.... this was 2/3 seasons ago. I haven't subscribed since.

There is always the remote chance that Shaw/Bell/Telus on some nights wouldn't want to use up all of their HD bandwidth for CI (especially if there are 10+ games happening at once. However I suspect the only kinds of games that would face this would be sun belt games like PHX vs CAR or CBJ vs FLA.

Even then. I suspect the Canadian TV providers would be less likely to do something like this compared to the cable providers in the US who couldn't care less about hockey.
