I've seen people walk by, notice it, and bend down to feel it with their hands lol. They used Train Lawn Care and it is lumpy and not nailed down very well.

I'm going to use it for my point of reference on the durability of synthetic grass over the next year or so.

You can also order synthetic grass by the roll on HomeDepot.ca now.
How does this hold up to commercial use? Does people walking on it everyday have noticeable wear?

It's only been about 2 weeks since they had it installed.

Not yet, I was not aware that was a thing. I found this conversation in Google and just wanted to get involved and let people know about us!

If you have any information on a Beyond sponsorship I'd be happy to hear it!

Still love the look of this stuff. Wonder if you were doing a new build could you save some money on topsoil?

Hi ExtraSlow, I'll get back to you on this - I personally don't have all the answers but I've passed your question along and should have an answer for you shortly.

Let me know if anyone else has any other questions they'd like answered as well!

I'm looking for pricing for 720 sq ft of syn grass for my dogs to do their business on. Needs to match Kentucky bluegrass, as it will be touching natural grass on two sides.

Anyone using it for dogs? I saw RyMar had a special lawn just for dogs... However the guy hasn't called me back in 3 weeks.

    Hi Gregrego,

Here is a message from our Calgary installer:

Yes there is pet friendly turf.
It will not match Kentucky bluegrass but will be close.
Normally we install a border to separate real grass from artificial grass as the real grass will try to infiltrate our artificial.

He's available today if you'd like to find out a bit more information!

Or you could submit a request an estimate here: http://precision-greens.com/request-an-estimate/

Or feel free to ask any other questions you might have

    Hi ExtraSlow,

Got an answer back from the Calgary installer, but he's not sure what you were referring to.

He said "We don't use topsoil to install the turf".

"Do you want to know if it is cheaper because he doesn't have to remove the grass?"

Again, you can give him a call any time - he'll be happy to answer any questions you have.

If anyone wants a quote they are completely free and come with no obligations.

Or feel free to ask here and I'm more than happy to help get any of your questions answered!

I have the stuff for dogs. Mine has been down for 6 years now. I love it, it makes cleaning up so much easier. The stuff I have is fairly green. I really do not think it will matter much to match as you will be able to tell the difference between the real and fake stuff no matter how close they match.

Here is a pic of the dog stuff. It actually looks better in person.

Has anyone considered or done Grass painting? My yard is north facing and gets very little sun and I doubt I am going to get a nice green lawn. I thought it might be worth a try "painting" the lawn before I rip it all out and go artificial.

The popular ones seem to be:
    4EverGreen Grass and Turf Paint

    Lawnlift
