    Derailing threads ftw.

Hit them up with this line... "So my twin brother is having a really tough time since he left his ex, can I have him call you?"

    Answer:
    Yes: SCORE!
No: Since it's your "twin brother", they won't be creeped out, and will continue ordering from your restaurant

They're certainly big, but I don't know if they are the BEST I've tasted.

Yep, free rent in exchange for cleaning their house, I buy my own food and everything else generally, and I have a place being built.

I have a friend who is 19 years old, drives a $56000 Corvette Z06, lives at home and has no plans to do anything other than enjoy his Z06.

^^and people wonder about the decline of pride of achievment in the younger generation

When I made $50k a year I thought that was perfect, when I made $60k a year I thought I was rolling in it...now I don't think I could survive on less than what my wife and I make now (which is of course not true, of course we could survive on a lot less, we just wouldn't be able to do all the things we love doing)

He's 19 lol let him enjoy it.

It's life and not everyone is going to grow up, move out, settle down at the same time. There is no standard.

EXCEPT! $75k is the magic number for happiness!

All in all I have to say for myself being 21, owning a fairly new BMW, having a place built and no real other debt I'm doing pretty good.

I hope this thread doesn't turn into a dick measuring contest because I was actually interested in what people had to say about supe's original question. But the thread is derailed anyways so..

This is how I know we are able to live comfortably with our income...

Last week I gave my father-in-law shit for buying the store brand processed cheese slices. If I want fucking Kraft singles, I am going get fucking Kraft singles.

Just like someone said earlier the more you make the more you spend. Comfort is dependent on your own idea of how you want to live.

Back ten years ago if somebody would have said to me I would be married with a combined income of about 200k I would have thought I won the damn lottery but really that isnt that much for how I spend money

Good thing we have toned it down a bit and it is comfortable. 250K in Calgary would be our magic number but we could continue at our current rate and be more than fine
