Default Need a 32mm 12 point 1/2" deep socket ASAP

Hey, looking to borrow a 32mm 12 point 1/2" deep socket tonight, I've called literally almost all the parts stores and it seems none of them have it in deep socket, which I need. Using it to remove an axle, I'm located in Mckenzie so if you're near by and could lend me one I'd greatly appreciate it.

    TIA

Just checked (I am in Copperfield) and all I have is a 1¼" (31.75mm) deep 6 point.

    Did you check Princess Auto?

Have you tried shallow? The shallow sockets in that size are still a good like inch and a half deep.

Also see if they've got it in 3/4" drive, then just use an adapter.

My axle socket collection is wonky, I've got a deep 30, a shallow 32, and a shallow 39. Never needed a deep 32.

Yeah I initially went and bought a regular 32mm socket and it's not long enough.

try napa. i needed a 30mm deep socket for a transmission flange and they had one. was less than $10 bucks too. they had a pretty big selection.

although it was only a 6 point. the wall on the 12 points were too thick for my application, but maybe they have 12 as well, i didnt really look.

I bought the princess auto axle nut socket set a while ago. It has a 32mm socket in it that is pretty deep (maybe 2" deep) but it is only 6 point... Does it need to be 12 point?

    It is this kit:

I'm way the hell up in Royal Oak so that might be an obstacle, but I am headed downtown at around 6am tomorrow and after 8 I will be at various places around the city.

It *must* be 12 point. It's on my celica. My whole damn build could have been finished last night, but noooo, Toyota strikes again with being a pain in the ass to work on.

I couldn't try napa yesterday because they were already closed. I'll try today.

If anyone has a 30mm 12 point maybe we can try that too but I'm pretty sure it's 32mm.

Craftsman in the USA has a 12pt. Try using the product number and giving sears a call and see if they also carry the same socket. They should.

    or

    try calling Gregg Distributes

    and

worst case scenario get one from Ebay.

how deep does it need to be? i have a set of 3/4 drive 12 points that although aren't deep sockets, are a bit deeper than 1/2 inch drive. i have a 3/4 to 1/2 drive adapter as well.

the wall is fairly thick though, so you can use them anywhere there is a really tight fit.

if its 30mm, vw has a similar arrangement:

    they even have Saturday hours.
