Please be kind as this took me all fucking day but I built the platform around the tub. .
Nice! Looks awesome! As a DIY hot tub repair guy who has spent way too much time fixing lately, I'd be concerned about access.
It's probably fine, but as a fat arthritic old guy...

I had to leave an opening around the tub to access the covered sides just incase so I built a removable platform to cover the opening and covered it with composite fascia board. I would've loved to do a mitered corner or an angle corner instead of what I did but these things were $180 a piece and I chickened out.
    Looks good.

Pulled my whole irrigation system on the new hedge today, next 2 weeks should be good temps for it to naturally put itself dormant.

    Is it spring yet?

Ground temps are still warm AF, good idea to pull the irrigation off them , but don't stop watering for a couple of weeks, same as the lawn.

Gonna drain and flush my water heater, it’s about that time to replace the anode in it, looking online there’s a few different material types. How do I know which mine uses? Home Depot seems to mostly sell magnesium ones but online says magnesium isn’t great for hard water?

I installed a cheap ceiling hoist for lifting tires up and down from the rack that's 8ft in the air. Haven't switched tires yet but looking forward to using this.

It's probably magnesium, if it was aluminum there would be an A stamped on the brass nut. Aluminum is supposed to be somewhat better, I wouldn't sweat the choice.
Let us know what it looks like when you pull it. I've been thinking of doing ours, but I don't think I have the height clearance, I should measure...

Started on the work to remove the wall splitting the garage. Doesn't look like much was done but this garage was built in a hundred different weird ways.

Rear diff and transfer case fluids and did some brake work on the F150. Watching hockey while the rtv dies.

Changed a 10 year old TPMS in my truck tire at home with basic hand tools. $20 Amazon sensor looks identical, works again so I’m happy. Apparently the average sensor lifespan is 7 years?

Old ones might still work as well, it could just be a dead battery inside it.

Well ya, but it was hermetically sealed plastic and the battery soldered in. I recently had new tires put on and I think they may have cracked it.

2 years here, hundreds of amazon deliveries... Suddenly I have a porch pirate. Landlord veto'd the peephole cameras, Can't modify door, can't replace peephole.
