Probably a good call for infrequently used equipment. I should use that in my generator too, since that runs like 8 hours a year.

    Just run this:
    https://www.homedepot.ca/product/tru...nes/1001029078

    or 2 stroke blend.

I never have an issue anymore with any seasonal stuff.
    $8.61/L is a good premium.

Yeah if you use one can per year, it's fine.

Wife wanted a veggie garden. Had to build it on a slope.

Got a good deal on 2x6 cedar from Cedarshop

Was originally thinking 3 rows but managed to squeeze in a fourth by sandwiching beds against eachother. Will be 8 x 3x6 beds.

Decided to do a little mini deck/path inbetween the two sets

Decided to add some trellis before we loaded them up with soil

Wanted to experiment with drip irrigation this time to avoid hours of manual watering. Also makes it easier to go camping and not stress about the garden.

Went with gravel for the main stairs

Almost done, still gotta stain then add accent lighting Then gotta fix the lawn I wrecked and fix the patio/fence/deck.

Probably the right crew to ask. How good/bad of an idea is a freestanding pergola on a concrete patio? I don't want to lag-bolt into the concrete because frankly I don't think the pergola is a long term fixture.
    Stupid?

    No solid roof, that's correct.

Had a freestanding one over my hot tub for a decade. It was fine.

10'x12' standing on 4x4 posts. Very similar to your pic.

They're certainly big, but I don't know if they are the BEST I've tasted.

Is there anything you can tie it into? Id be worried about it twisting on you. You could look at those yardistry kits that have hollow posts so not as much weight up high.

You can get concrete post holders that are ~50-100lbs per corner. That plus the weight of the thing and no chance it moves if it's a open roof style.
