1/2 of the wall gone. This was the easy side. The other half... ugh.. that is gonna suck.

Old ones might still work as well, it could just be a dead battery inside it.
You can't change the battery in a TPMS sensor. They are molded in solid state. otherwise the moisture in air will eventually make it's way in cook the sensor.

Ahh, didn’t know they were all sealed. Makes sense I guess

The knee brace you have on the door wall is weird. I understand the point of a knee brace to be to reduce racking, but; what racking are you expecting in that direction? I have no basis to decide whether or not your work is good or bad, but that brace makes me hella suspicious.

I installed a cheap ceiling hoist for lifting tires up and down from the rack that's 8ft in the air. Haven't switched tires yet but looking forward to using this.

hahah the whole loft of this garage is built sketchy as fuck from previous owners. So I put the 4x4 on the end with some metal braces and that knee brace to hold up that area of the floor. The loft doesn't see any huge weights and is mostly just a light storage area.

You should see what they did on the other side to support the joists running across that area. Its a single 2x4 strapped to the studs with some small metal braces to hold them in place.. no floor joists hangars anywhere.

House is short on storage space so finally got around to making some wooden hangers for homedepot tubs. Can get 9 tubs above the garage door on each side

I saw someone do this on Youtube the other day but I think I'd still wrap a safety strap around them for "just cause" purposes

I've always liked this idea, but I've never done it because I keep thinking about if I wanted something in the 3rd bin (closest to the wall). I'd have to move the car, get a ladder, and pull out the first 2 bins to get to the 3rd ... I think I'd just end up saying Fuck it.

    That's right, 5 minutes.

As opposed to 20 seconds of walking in and pulling something off a shelf.

I'm not saying it's the same timeframe as repainting the house. I'm just saying that for myself, I don't think it would work. For cycosis, I hope it works perfectly.

Seems like it'd be nice for seasonal storage. Take down all the warm winter gear and toss up all the lawn care crap. Or the obscure tools you need once a year.

This is the correct, but unpopular, choice.

I'm a huge fan of overhead bin storage. It's a pain to get things up and down but it's great for stuff I only need once or twice a year and eats up some otherwise wasted space. Pic from a couple years ago when I first set it up. Name: PXL_20221005_213420658~2.jpg
