I bought some LED one on sale from Costco. I think it was $29. But its solar. Hardwired would probably be bestThis quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

Well imagine if instead of writing that letter to the editor, she just posts on a car forum for car enthusiasts. That's Kritafo.
Anyone know of trusted general contractors to extend a wardrobe door? It requires cutting the wall to expand the entrance + new doors.
Thats going to be a really tough one because its such a small job that you will have a difficult time getting anyone willing to do it. If you're at all handy I would highly suggest doing that yourself, start watching youtube videos now on framing and hanging doors. Its not tough but you will pull your hair out trying to get someone in for that. Good luck! This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

In the laundry room I decided to finally do something about it . Managed to do it for Just shy of 1800. Still need to add backsplash and a bit of trim . Started with this super awkward shaped laundry room and just tried to make the best of it.

@loweg was that a second hand kitchen or something? Looks great, huge improvement.
Yep friend/client got rid of a 1 year old kitchen and it was just gonna end up in the bin . Made use of his counters and cabinets . The electrical panel is inside the shorter upper cabinet. It was a lower but made into an upper. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Thanks !
Slowly making changes on our WW2 house we bought in BC. They had these weird stupid Roman columns when we moved in… Taking them out made the dining room feel so much bigger!
First shows the columns from the original listing picture…
Then removed…
I'm getting my kids to pick the sticks and debris out of the decorative gravel in my yard. Need to get the volume low enough that I can burn the rest once fall is here and fire danger goes down.

Probably 2x that many sticks left to go, but it's hard work picking them up with your soft little fingers....

Finally got around to lubricating all the door hinges and the garage. A boring task but squeaky doors drive me nuts. Dusted out my computer.
Hooked up the second hose to move the sprinkler further into the yard, and some guy later today walking down the street stole the fucking sprinkler!! Desperate times these days.
Small tasks that tend to get pushed down the list but glad I can cross them off

Since we changed the colour of the house when we replaced the siding, we've been spending the weekends/evenings sanding and re-painting the deck railings to match the house. Shit fucking sucks. The 5" palm sander works OK but takes forever, so I've been using a 7" polisher/sander to do the bulk of the work and it works great, but it's not designed for wood sanding really - so the sawdust gets sucked through it and at least once a day it gets into the switch and carbons up the contacts. I have gotten extremely efficient at tearing the thing down, disassembling the switch, and sanding the eight contacts clean.
I suggested we just get metal railings, but nooooooo....
I've been overdue for sharpening my kitchen knives so I went all out and sharpened my woodworking and leather tools as well.
Time consuming but therapeutic.
Finished clearing out a useless wall in the garage into a useful one
I see what you did there.
