How do you empty the water off those? I can't imagine it evaporating fast enough to not overflow during a few days of sticky snow.

It really speeds up the cleaning of the top layer of crud. I do a second pass with 25 degree nozzle to really blast things clean. Cut my work time in half I'd say.

Containment mat sounds great, will definitely purchase, will be great to have during the rainy months.

Ultracheap $90 window AC is in. Manual says to not operate when less than 18 celsius as it may cause ice to form.

Sounds like a winner to me.

How did it take? Seems like this would take all day to do a garage and driveway.

In the winter I just shovel a bunch of snow onto the floor (heated detached garage), then push it all out the overhead door with a broom into the alley. Melts just enough to pick up all the dirt and dust making the concrete immaculate in 60 seconds of effort.

I keep my garage at 10c, and it doesn't evaporate everyday, but a good weekend of not going out usually took care of the water. It was never close to being fully covered in water, let alone with any depth. Otherwise as mentioned, a squeegee. It came with one from the site I posted (though it's a little small).

These are the pics from a full winter of crud. That crusty salt used to be hell to get off my bare cement even with a pressure washer and surface cleaner attachment, but just swept right up into a pile on this thing.

Edit: One of the perks is when you need to work on your vehicle you can just fold it up to keep the crap contained move it aside and you have a nice clean floor in the dead of winter to crawl on.

Well imagine if instead of writing that letter to the editor, she just posts on a car forum for car enthusiasts. That's Kritafo.

Yeah, I've never done it, otherwise my hose reel would be hung up. LoL!!
With vinyl siding, is it truly as simple as pilot-drill some holes and then get to screwing?
