I bought a berm one this fall off amazon. Chose the cheapest option, which for an ~8'x16' was <$200. Came with a squeegee which was nice, since my garage is heated and sealed tighter than a hutterite's asshole, I need to squeegee the melt off out the door. This was the one that I got, which appears to be sold out now, but there's always a few options that I assume all come from the same sweatshop. https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B0B9RKHTTC?...roduct_details

I got the absorbent "Armour All" brand one from Amazon and it's fine, but recommend adding dehumidifier to garage as well.

    Had a busy weekend!

My garburators broke on Friday, so I replaced that on Saturday, then also drilled my granite to add a new water RO system (Black Friday special from Santa to the house).

I got that one, too. I didn’t realize how much of a pain vacuuming up the water is.

Also, it’ll never lay flat. They come so folded and wrinkled during shipping that you’ll need to tailor your expectations.

I even left it out in the sun for a full day. They also recommend dumping litres of boiling water on it. lol.

Maintenance of them is also a full wash every ~2 weeks to get the dirt off. I’m wondering about the long term quality in a climate like ours.

I can update in a few months see how it’s doing. It is ugly, and a tripping hazard to boot.

I got mine here, which appears to be identical but cheaper. https://www.vevor.ca/garage-floor-co...p_010893066637

Mine doesn't have a problem laying flat though. You aren't turning your steering wheel on it are you? I also don't wash it every two weeks, lol, it's there to collect the winter crap, I wash it in the spring and tuck it away for summer. Have never tripped on it either.

They sell it by the meter, but what I needed wasn’t in stock.

I didnt do the labour work, but organized calling guy in and watching him work and paying him. Changed out a faded bathroom counter top to builder grade quick and cheapo common and easy off cut small piece new quartz with new sink. For a condo rental, just riding out the wave I read on Beyond condo will be the next boom? And finding that balance still rent seeking for cash flow while not completely looking like a slumlord

To continue with the Home Automation junk I put three new bulbs in my alley fixtures so I can have light out there.

The fixtures are but the bulbs are not. I only have it setup to come on when I need it.

If I need motion sensing I will setup something else.

Bought and assembled this 4x8 ft aluminum trailer to put my sled on.
It folds up, which I love, and tilts.

    Added:
    - Aluminum decking. Aluminum rivets.
    - Sled ski guides.
    - Bigger tires with a higher speed rating (originals were 55mph max).
